Lego Junior Create and Cruise Guide

When the app is opened, players are brought to a title screen containing a flashing button with an image of a vehicle. There is also a button with an image of a trophy on it. Upon clicking the flashing button, players are brought to a page where they may create their own vehicle through a range of options. There are several vehicle bodies and tyres to select from. Items must be attached to the vehicle by clicking and dragging them onto the car. After this, players are brought to a side-scroller screen as they drive their vehicle through a winding outdoor path, collecting small tokens as they go. Players must push and hold an accelerator button, and only have control over the movement forwards, as opposed to backwards or sideways. Once a certain number of tokens are collected, a reward is given to players. After reaching the finish line of this particular path, players may begin to build a new vehicle. After completing the race a second time and collecting more tokens, players receive more rewards in the form of other items to add – for example, a new hat or police vest for their character to wear. Upon finishing the second run-through, players must build a small boulder machine by clicking and dragging the parts of it upon itself. These objects that are created post-race are placed throughout the track, for players to pass by as they run the course again.

As the levels continue, these end-of-race objects become more complex and challenging to put together, with different parts and shapes being needed to complete them. Within the Achievements section of the app, it is possible for players to view all the previous structures they have built at the end of each race – they may elect to build them again within this section of the app.The app does not pose any overt risks to children, and may provide a fun way of practice motor skills and geometry. Collecting coins will unlock LEGO sets in the game that can be built with a few easy touches – and which will become part of the game’s colorful 3D scenery for your child’s next drive-through.Create & Cruise provides plenty of inspiration for real-life LEGO builds and imaginative play scenarios that you and your kid can reenact out at home – like how to mix and match your LEGO bricks to build something new, or how to interact with your creations. Play as fun characters like a ninja, princess, police officer and many more! LEGO Juniors sets contain quick start elements and numbered pre-packed bags that can be built without help from Mum or Dad – which makes any small builder extra proud. This brain game for kids will develop your girl or boy and it is even fun to play by adults. It includes a “pretend play” feature that allows your creative kid to edit his LEGO character and customize it in an original way while cruising through the environment.

You can be sure that your kid will be able to play in a safe environment. This game does not include any in-game advertising and parents can consider the app a safe digital environment for their kids. Furthermore, kids cannot purchase anything inside the app. The premise is simple. Kids pick a basic LEGO vehicle body, wheel, cabin, and cargo.  They then run the vehicle through a course. At first, kids only have one choice of each part of the vehicle body. They unlock more choices as they play the game. Kids can do that by collecting all the gold LEGO pegs as they maneuver the vehicle on a small stretch of road. I say maneuver because depending on the choice of wheel or cabin they may be bouncing the vehicle, flying, or blaring a siren as they collect pegs. The possibilities are endless once the various parts are unlocked. If the children don’t collect enough of the pegs per level, they still pass the level but they don’t get a new part to unlock. However, all is not lost because the gold pegs already collected will carry over to the next round. At the end of each level the child gets to make a LEGO figure ranging from various structures to different animals.

Each level is just a slight variation on the same little stretch of road but as your child completes each, the LEGO figures they have made after each level appear off in the distance on that road. It is a nice detail to have in the game. There is also an option for kids to check their achievements.
